Appointed Chief Executive Officer in August 2014, Mr. Samuel Sakyi-Hyde is a banker by profession with over nineteen (19) years' experience in Financial Services Management, Rural Banking, Credit Risk Management, Domestic Operations, Business Development, Retail and SME Banking, Internal Audit, Treasury Management, Trade Finance and Project Management. He holds an International MBA from the Wisconsin International University College, Accra; and an MBA in Banking and Risk Management from Business School Netherlands.
Prior to his appointment at uniCredit, Mr. Sakyi-Hyde was the Head of Branch Network at uniBank and executed an unparalleled branch expansion exercise that increased the Bank's branches from twenty-one (21) to thirty (30) nationwide within nine (9) months. This was after his seven-year tenure as Head, SME Banking during which time uniBank's SME Unit grew into a full department. Mr. Sakyi-Hyde has also previously worked with Ga Rural Bank Limited and Amalbank Ghana Limited (now Bank of Africa), where he occupied various managerial positions.
Mr. P.V. Yeboah-Asiamah is a product of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He holds a BSc (Hons) Mathematics and MBA (Banking and Finance). He is also a final level student of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA),UK and Association of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) Ghana.
Padmore worked with Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank Limited from 2001 to 2012. He held various positions as Administrative and Human Resource Manager, Credit Manager, Business Development and Marketing Manager. He had also been Operations Manager in charge of the Finance, ICT and Treasury Departments as well as the Branch Operations in the same institution. He acted as the Secretary to the Board from 2001 to 2004 and served on many Board Sub-Committees including Human Resource Sub-Committee, Finance and Procurement Sub-Committee, Credit, Marketing and Deposit Mobilisation Sub-Committee. He was also a member (and in some years the Chairman) of the Budget Committee from 2002 to 2011.
P.V was also part of the team of Bank Managers and officers who had some study visits to best international microfinance institutions in Ethiopia in East Africa and Bangladesh in Asia under the sponsorship of United Nations Development Programmes (UNDP) in 2004.
Mr. Yeboah-Asiamah joined uniCredit Ghana Limited as the General Manager on 14th February, 2012 and has a very strong analytical skill.
Fred, as he is called by his working colleagues has varied experiences in the areas of Branch Management, Internal Control, Treasury and Risk Management.
He is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Honors in Mathematics. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Fred started his banking career with the erstwhile Citi Savings and Loans from October 1998 as a management trainee and by dint of hard work became a branch manager after working for just 3 years. He occupied this position until Citi Savings and Loans was taken over by Intercontinental Bank Ghana Limited. Fred became part of the Intercontinental Bank (Now Access Bank, Ghana) team starting off as a Branch Manager.
He held various positions within the Bank including Relationship Manager, Business Manager, Head of Operations, etc. rising to the position of Head, Remedial Management and Loan Recovery.
As the Head of Compliance & Operational Risk at uniCredit, Fred sees his role as a critical factor in the attainment of the Company's overall goals and aspirations.
Margaret is a practising HR professional and has over 15 years experience in Human Resource Management spanning both the Communications and Banking industry.
She is a product of University of Cape Coast where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts. She currently holds an I.E.M.B.A in Human Resources from the Paris Graduate School of Management and is a Certified Human Resource Analyst, (CHRA).
As an HR person, she is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, (SHRM).
Prior to her joining uniCredit, she worked at various managerial positions in HR in both United Bank of Africa (UBA) and uniBank (Ghana) Limited.
Ebenezer Amuzu has extensive knowledge and background in Banking Operations for more than a decade with varying experiences in Financial Data Processing, Clearing, Reconciliation and Operational Rigor.
Prior to joining uniCredit, he was Head of the Reconciliation Unit in the Domestic Operations Department at uniBank.
With a humble beginning as an officer in the Finance and Administration Department, he meticulously rose through the ranks to become an Officer at the Retail and Domestic Operations Departments at uniBank. He subsequently became the Operational Control /Rigor Manager before joining the Reconciliation Unit.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the Methodist University College, Ghana. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration from Coventry University, UK. He is a Level II candidate for the Association of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB), Ghana.
Alfred Kweku Amoah has over 17 years banking experience in the Retail, Operations and E-Banking departments of various Commercial Banks including Savings and Loans.
Prior to joining uniCredit, he was the Head of the E-Banking Department at uniBank.
He holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from the Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM) and a first degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria. He has also attended several banking and management courses both locally and internationally.
Griffith started his career as a freelance programmer whiles working as Systems/Network Administrator for Pie Innovations. He later joined AtwimaKwanwoma Rural Bank as a Systems Administrator in 2006.
In 2008, He was assigned the company's Database Administrator where he was in charge of the company's core banking application Globus Emerge (currently Temenos T24). Thereafter, he was appointed as the Deputy Head of the ICT Department.
He developed Banking Software, and other applications for some Rural Banks, Microfinance and other companies in 2009. Griffith then joined Sinapi Aba in 2010 where he continued his IT career as a Senior Systems Administrator. Thereafter he was assigned the Head of Data for the company in 2011. He joined uniCredit Ghana Limited in May 2014 as Head of the ICT Department.
Griffith holds an International Diploma and Advance Diploma from NCC in UK, a Degree in Business Computing and Information Systems from University of Wales, UK and Currently at his thesis level in executive MBA in I.T. from Paris Graduate School of Management. With his expansive knowledge in the industry, Griffith seeks to introduce robust automation systems into the operations of uniCredit to provide value to our customers.
T. Quaye as he is well known in his professional life has over thirteen (13) years working experience in the Banking industry.
He began his career with Standard Chartered Ghana Limited in 2002 as a Business developer for the Business Financial Services Department. Thereafter, joined Amal Bank (Now Bank of Africa) as a Unit Head for the Retail/ Consumer Banking Department and rose through the ranks to become a middle level manager.
He later joined uniBank Ghana Limited as a Loan portfolio Manager with emphasis on Relationship Management and Business Development, Product Development and Management, Customer Service and Customer Advisory Services, Process Review and Re-engineering, and Retail/ Consumer Banking Service.
Until his appointment at uniCredit in 2014 as the Head of Client Services, T. Quaye was a key manager in the branch network unit of uniBank. With an Expansive knowledge in various business units within the banking industry, he is currently spearheading the Business units with a keen focus on Profitability, Client Service Excellence, Strategy and Growth.
Mr. Emmanuel Tetteh Quaye holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (General Management Option) from Central University Business School, Ghana.
Elias Aluma Azasiya has over 15 years banking experience in both Corporate and SMEs financing. He has extensive knowledge and skills in various aspect of banking including Corporate Banking, Credit Risk Management, Loan Recovery, Compliance and Anti Money Laundering, Monitoring and Evaluation. He has also developed capacity in project finance, organizational restructuring and reorganization, petroleum and energy and commodities finance, etc.
He Holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast and Masters degree in Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration [GIMPA]. He has also attained professional qualifications as a Chartered Banker and Chartered Accountant from the Chartered Institute of Bankers [ACIB] Ghana and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) respectively.
Elias as he is affectionately called by colleagues joined Ghana Commercial Bank Limited (Now GCB Bank Ltd) as a Management Trainee in 2001 and became a Credit Risk Analyst and Compliance Officer until 2009. He also worked at HFC Bank as the Deputy Head, Credit and Relationship Management Department and later joined uniBank Ghana in 2011 as Senior Credit Risk Analyst in charge of Corporate Credits until December 2014.
Peggy is a practicing Lawyer and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. Peggy was educated at the University of Ghana where she graduated in 2005 with First Class Honours in Sociology and Linguistics.
Subsequently, she obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons) from the University of London Law School in 2010 and thereafter attended the Ghana School of Law.
She was admitted as a Member of the Ghana Bar Association in 2012.
Knowledgeable in a wide spectrum of law, Peggy is particularly skilled in Corporate Banking and Litigation. She worked as a private legal practitioner with Sam Okudzeto and Associates before joining uniCredit in May 2014.
Peggy is the Company Secretary of uniCredit Ghana Limited and TeleMedia Communications Limited.
Mustapha is a young result-oriented professional with close to 10years experience in the Banking Industry.
He started his banking career with Standard Chartered Bank, Ghana where he started off as officer, Branch operations and service delivery. His area of expertise includes Banking Operations, e-Banking, Electronic Anti-Money Laundering Preventive System (eMLPS), Business Process Re-engineering, Optimal Service delivery, Operational Risk, ATM operations and Controls. Prior to joining uniCredit in November 2015, he was a Supervisor, Operational Rigour at uniBank.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Development Studies (Economics Major) from the University for Development Studies. He is also a candidate for the Association of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance – Coventry University, UK.
Paakow as his working colleagues call him is a Marketing and Brands professional with a decade experience in Brands Management, Communications, Media Relations and Advertising.
He is a product of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana Institute of Journalism and an MBA candidate of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Prior to joining uniCredit in 2013, he had worked with Telemedia Communications Limited in various managerial capacities.
He is also a member of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana.
