uniCredit Supports 5 Institutions

As part of its Customer Appreciation Week celebrations, leading Savings and Loans Company, uniCredit has provided support to five institutions in different locations throughout the country. The five institutions included the Ashaiman Polyclinic, Adabraka Polyclinic, Kaneshie Polyclinic, Kumasi Children’s Home and Takoradi Hospital.

Various teams from uniCredit also made time to carry out clean-up exercises at the various locations in addition to the donations. Mr. P.V. Yeboah-Asiamah, General Manager of uniCredit, led a team to the Kaneshie Polyclinic and recounted the institution’s commitment to the provision of health services to the citizenry. He also mentioned uniCredit’s ongoing eight-year partnership with the Princess Marie Children’s Hospital which included the establishment of a special needy fund which had grown over the years to cater for the needs of the less privileged children who could not have otherwise afforded medical care.

Having come so far this year, Mr. Yeboah-Asiamah explained that uniCredit’s Management had decided to extend the scope of its social responsibility by supporting five additional institutions in the country with a total of GHS80,000. He stated that this was in addition to a donation of GHS20,000 presented to the Children’s Hospital earlier in the year.

Speaking during uniCredit’s presentation at the Kaneshie Polyclinic, he was hopeful that the provision of items such as adjustable beds, mattresses, a refrigerator and television set to furbish the newly constructed Amo-Mensah Ward would go a long way to enhance the delivery of quality healthcare at the health facility.

Mr. Yeboah-Asiamah also informed the Polyclinic’s staff present at the ceremony of uniCredit’s special loan product to serve the needs of salaried workers in the public sector. He encouraged all workers especially those on the government payroll to take advantage of the competitive interest being offered on the product and the speed of its delivery to meet their varied needs.
