uniCredit Supports Children’s Hospital

uniCredit has given an amount of GHS20, 000 to support the 90th anniversary celebrations of the Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital in Accra.

Making the donation to the hospital, Mr. P.V Yeboah-Asiamah, General Manager of uniCredit who led a delegation to the hospital for the presentation recounted the relationship that has existed between uniCredit and the Children’s hospital over the past years. He said uniCredit started the partnership with the Children’s Hospital by the establishment of a special needy fund which he said has grown over the years to cater for the needs of the less privileged children who couldn’t have otherwise afforded medical care.

Mr. Yeboah- Asiamah said, having come this far with the hospital; uniCredit considered it a special opportunity to support the hospital on the special occasion of their 90th Anniversary. He was hopeful the support will help the hospital carry out its intended anniversary project.

Mr. Yeboah- Asiamah hinted that as part of uniCredit’s commitment to improving its service offerings, the company has rolled out a consumer asset finance product (EazzLife) aimed at helping salaried workers to live comfortably. He said the EazzLife product from uniCredit has been designed to enable salaried workers especially those within the public sector, to acquire consumer items such as televisions, tablets and other necessary household appliances.

uniCredit is currently undergoing an expansion programme with a target of 26 branch outreach by the end of 2016.

Dr. Maame Yaa Nyarko, chairperson of the 90th anniversary planning committee and a Pediatric Specialist at the Children’s Hospital was grateful to uniCredit for their support towards their 90th anniversary.

She said the support would go a long way to make their expectation for the anniversary project a reality. She said uniCredit has proven to be a reliable social partner and their partnership has been very beneficial.
