uniCredit Donates to Children’s Hospital

Management of uniCredit has donated an amount of GHS10, 000 to the Children’s Hospital in Accra.


Making the donation to the hospital, Mr. P.V Yeboah-Asiamah, General Manager of uniCredit who led a delegation to the hospital for the presentation recounted the relationship that has existed between uniCredit and the Children’s hospital over the past 6years. He said a special needy fund for the hospital established by uniCredit continuous to be a source of great relief for the less privileged children who couldn’t have otherwise afforded medical care.

Mr. Yeboah- Asiamah said uniCredit considered it a social duty to help the hospital especially considering the catchment area of the facility. He praised the medical staff for their effort and assured them that uniCredit will always lend a helping hand.

Mr. Yeboah- Asiamah hinted that uniCredit has rolled out special loan and consumer asset finance products aimed at helping public sector workers to live comfortably. He said the smart personal loan product has been designed to enable public sector workers access loans within 2 days of application to meet their varied needs. He said as part of its expansion program, uniCredit has increased its branch network to 17 and intends to add 8 more in 2016. Mr. Yeboah- Asiamah also said uniCredit will in the coming month roll- out its e-banking suite to offer more convenience to its customers.

uniCredit has grown in terms of reach and customer base with branches spread across Accra, Kumasi, Kasoa and Takoradi. Dr. Isaac Abban, Pediatric Specialist at the Children’s Hospital informed the gathering that the Hospital was about celebrating its 90th anniversary and called on all well meaning corporate bodies to help the hospital achieve its noble objective of providing quality health care for children in the country. He expressed the appreciation of Management to uniCredit and said they were expecting more assistance from other allied bodies to cater for the varied needs of the hospital. He said uniCredit has proven to be a reliable social partner and their partnership has been very beneficial.
