MR. STEPHEN AMEYAW – Managing Director
Mr. Stephen Ameyaw holds a BSc. Degree from the University of Cape Coast, MSc. (Economics) Degree from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Diploma in Economics of Banking from Finafrica, Italy. He worked with the Bank of Ghana for 30 years and retired from the services of the Bank as Assistant Director. From October 2000 to October 2003, he was seconded by the Bank to the West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM), Nigeria as a Director. Mr. Ameyaw had many years of progressive and diverse responsibilities in the development, regulation, monitoring and supervision of Rural/Community Banks and microfinance institutions. He was involved in the implementation of various strategies for the promotion of rural financial intermediation in Ghana, which entail the deepening of outreach and expansion of services to large number of rural clients. He was in a Team of Consultants engaged by the Government of Ghana Rural Financial Services Project to design the methodology and prepare a manual for implementing microfinance outreach and capacity building initiative for Rural/Community Banks and undertook consultation and sensitization on the approach. He has been the Technical Director on the Board of Anum Rural Bank over the past six (6) years. Mr. Ameyaw joined uniCredit Ghana Limited as the Managing Director on 1st August 2006.
MR. PADMORE VICTOR YEBOAH-ASIAMAH- General Manager
Mr. P.V. Yeboah-Asiamah is a product of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He holds a BSc (Hons) Mathematics and MBA (Banking and Finance). He is also a final level student of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA),UK and Association of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) Ghana.
Padmore worked with Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank Limited from 2001 to 2012. He held various positions as Administrative and Human Resource Manager, Credit Manager, Business Development and Marketing Manager. He had also been Operations Manager in charge of the Finance, ICT and Treasury Departments as well as the Branch Operations in the same institution. He acted as the Secretary to the Board from 2001 to 2004 and served on many Board Sub-Committees including Human Resource Sub-Committee, Finance and Procurement Sub-Committee, Credit, Marketing and Deposit Mobilisation Sub-Committee. He was also a member (and in some years the Chairman) of the Budget Committee from 2002 to 2011.
P.V was also part of the team of Bank Managers and officers who had some study visits to best international microfinance institutions in Ethiopia in East Africa and Bangladesh in Asia under the sponsorship of United Nations Development Programmes (UNDP) in 2004.
Mr. Yeboah-Asiamah joined uniCredit Ghana Limited as the General Manager on 14th February, 2012 and has a very strong analytical skill.
MR. SETH OFORI-LARBI - Finance and Administrative Manager
He is a Chartered Accountant and holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in Finance, from the University of Ghana Business School and a degree in Accounting and Information Systems.
He has practical experience in all areas of banking especially in areas of internal control and risk management. Before joining uniCredit Ghana Limited he has held positions as Head, Internal Control and Head, Recoveries respectively at Amalgamated Bank Limited. He has previously worked with the erstwhile Bank for Housing and Construction as an Internal Auditor and Branch Inspector.
He started his carrier with Messrs Peat Marwick Okoh and Co. (Chartered Accountants) now KPMG as a trainee accountant.
FREDERICK TENKORANG - Head of Internal Control, Risk and Compliance
Fred, as he is called by his working colleagues has varied experiences in the areas of Branch Management, Internal Control, Treasury and Risk Management.
He is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Honors in Mathematics. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Mr. Tenkorang started his career with the erstwhile Citi Savings and Loans from October 1998 as a management trainee and by dint of hard work become a branch manager after working for just 3 years. He occupied this position until Citi Savings and Loans was taken over by Intercontinental Bank Ghana Limited. Fred became part of the Intercontinental Bank team starting off as a branch Manager with Intercontinental Bank (Now Access Bank, Ghana).
He held various positions within the Bank including Relationship Manager, Business Manager, Head of Operations, etc. rising to the position of Head, Remedial Management and Loan Recovery.
As the Head of Internal Control, Risk and Compliance at uniCredit, Mr. Tenkorang sees his role as a critical factor in the attainment of the Company’s overall goals and aspirations.
MR. CEPHAS YAW ZATEY - Credit Manager
He holds Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Sociology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Cephas worked with Ministry of Lands, Mines & Forestry as Assistant Director IIB for two years before joining ProCredit in April 2004 as a Loan Officer. Cephas left ProCredit in Nov. 2007 as a Credit Coordinator and joined Intercontinental Bank as a Relationship Manager. Cephas left Intercontinental Bank to join uniCredit in October, 2007.
ANDREWS NAYONI - Manager, Human Resource
Mr. Andrews Nayoni is an astute HR practitioner with extensive background in general HR practice in performance management and designing modern HR systems, strategies and policies.
Until his appointment, Mr. Nayoni was the Head of Human Resource and Administration of SIC Life Trust Finance Limited, a non-bank financial institution and a subsidiary of SIC Life Company Limited.
Mr. Nayoni started his career with the Ghana Standard Authority where he worked for 15 years from 1995 to 2010 in the field of Human Resource and Administration, attaining the position of Administrative Manager.
Mr. Nayoni has participated in several courses, seminars and workshops in Ghana and abroad and has engaged in consultancies in the area of business strategy and Human Resource Management. He comes on board with a vision to institutionalize a high performance culture at uniCredit with highly motivated and dedicated employees.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management from the Hanze University of Applied Science in the Netherlands and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with Philosophy from the University of Ghana.
PARVIS AMARTEY – Operations Manager
Holds Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from Accra Polytechnic and a Chartered Accountant of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
He joined uniCredit Ghana Ltd then Kantamanto Savings and Loans Company Limited in June 2002 as a senior clerk and he is currently the Operations Manager.
JAMES KWAME YINYE - Business Development Manager
James holds a first class Bachelor of Science Degree Honours in Business Administration, (Banking and Finance) from the University of Ghana. He had worked in the Banking Industry since 2004. James has rich experience in Relationship and Credit Risk Management. He worked as a Credit Officer at Citi Savings and Loans Company Limited, a Relationship Manager at Intercontinental Bank Ghana Limited, and a Credit Analyst at Amalbank Ghana Limited. He joined uniCredit Ghana Limited as a Senior Credit Analyst in October, 2007 and is currently the Business Development Manager. Before joining the banking industry, James had worked with OCIC Ghana Ltd as the Finance Manager/Consultant. His responsibilities include Market Research, Products Development and Designing Strategies for driving deposit mobilization of the company.
MR. BENJAMIN AMOAH - Head, SME
He holds Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from the University of Ghana Legon. Benjamin has vast experience in both Micro and SME Lending and currently the Head of SME in uniCredit Ghana Limited. Prior to joining uniCredit in September 2008, he worked with ProCredit Savings and Loans Company Limited a non Banking Financial Institution for over Four Years where he started as a Loan Officer and rose to the position of senior credit analyst (SME), Business Development Coordinator and finally Head of SME in the same Institution.
ANTHONY MARSHALL ARPOH - Manager, Legal Affairs
Anthony Marshall Arpoh is a practicing Lawyer and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. Prior to joining uniCredit Ghana Limited, Mr. Arpoh was a Legal Manager from 2012 to May 2013 at Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank Limited.
He had previously served as Legal Officer for ProCredit Savings and Loans from 2010 to December 2011.
He has over six years corporate practice experience and seven years of private practice as Legal practitioner. He holds a B.A. (Hons) degree in Philosophy, LLB (Hons) all from the University of Ghana, Legon and a professional Law degree (BL) from the Ghana School of Law, Accra.
He has currently completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Banking and Finance and is working on his thesis. He has attended many workshops and conferences. Mr. Arpoh’s vision, together with his team is to contribute immensely to the growth of uniCredit Ghana Limited.
